Griddy is a brand new electricity company. Members pay the real-time rate of electricity for a low monthly membership. Because it's a brand new concept and company, the goal with their messaging is to make it very clear to the reader. We hit our main selling points hard and often for a very strategic reason. Inglewood Unified School District

Our goal with the new IUSD website was to reflect the innovative advances going on within the district on their website. We also wanted to create a well written, well designed, and accessible site to compete with the surrounding charter schools. My role was to write all copy, including headlines and all body content. Quatrine Furniture

We wanted to refresh the existing Quatrine Furniture website into something that better reflects their product. We ended up with a refined and stylish look that represents the luxury aspect of the brand, and also speaks to a younger clientele that they are trying to target. See the full site here.

The Breathe Clear Institute

The Breathe Clear Institute needed a brand new web site that was written and strategized mostly to improve their rankings. It was a very SEO copy heavy project, and the challenge was to write in a way that not only informs the reader with accurate information, but is also easy to consume. You can see the full site here.

This is a land use client who needs to convince the city that their development should be allowed to come to fruition. It was written in a way that speaks to a passionate and informed community member who is very excited about the possibility of improving their city.

Dance Lifestyle Magazine

This is a quarterly publication from Discount Dance Supply. As the writer I conducted a series of interviews to create the articles. It was really fun being able to write editorially for an industry that I have such a saturated background in.

OC Weekly

For this project I went out to these restaurants, spoke with the chefs and staff members, and photographed their food for the OC Weekly's bi-annual food issue. Seeing that food is one of my passions, this project was super fun. The restaurants pay for their feature, so it needed to really make the food sing, and get people excited to visit them and give it a try.

Neighborly Eatery

“Farm to table” and “dock to dish” are two of the phrases the guys at Craft House pride themselves on. Located on Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point, Craft House has a fun and inviting atmosphere, plus craft beverages and food offerings that live up to its name. Come in for their Social Hour and enjoy tasty bites like the Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, Roasted Squash & Burrata or Thai Style Chicken Wings. Some standouts from their full menu include the Grilled Meatloaf and Knife & Fork Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich. You won’t want to wait too long if your mouth is watering already from these dishes – the menu changes monthly assuring the most in-season ingredients possible. Wine lovers might want to pay attention here too. Each Wednesday is Wine-d Down Wednesday where diners can enjoy a 3-course meal complete with wine pairings for each course. More of a beer drinker? No problem! Stop in for Thirsty Thursdays for a beer focused menu and pairings. There’s patio seating, bar seating and a full dining room. It’s a well-crafted experience from service to beverages, and most importantly delicious cuisine!

Culinary Freedom

It started in Brazil, made its way to Florida, and now we are lucky enough to have it in Irvine! Located near the UCI Campus, Spoleto is a fun, student and family friendly spot, for fresh and organic Italian fare! Everything is made to order. You can make your own pasta, focaccia or salad creation from their wide variety of menu items, or pick one of their chef-inspired recipes. House favorites include Spaghetti Polpette Grande featuring one seriously giant meatball topped with marinara and burrata or Fettuccini a la Carbonara with chicken, veggies and their signature Alfredo sauce. The Fig Prosciutto & Burrata salad is the perfect pick for a lighter option, and don’t even think about leaving without a slice of Nutella Flatbread! The kids’ menu includes a pasta entrée or cheese flatbread, choice of beverage and a dessert – and adults will soon be able to enjoy an adult beverage with their meals too! Have an upcoming event? Treat your guests to delicious Italian food from Spoleto’s full catering menu, because who doesn’t love Italian food? They offer whole grain and gluten free pasta options as well.

Medical Industry

These are monthly promotions that clients in the medical industry (mostly cosmetic) would run on a monthly basis. I would work with my team to come up with the offer and also creative copy for the designs that would be used on their website, social media, and email marketing.
