Vision Design Studio (February 2018 - Present)

Copywriter

As part of the team at VDS, I create the copy for both digital and print collateral. Our work includes websites, social media, SMS, mailers, flyers, posters, and anything else we might think up to help our clients get results. I work closely with our Art Directors and Creative Director to align the art with the copy in a harmonious and thoughtful way. My clients include higher education, hospitality industry, beauty, and nonprofit organizations. 

NOMAD Agency (April 2017 - February 2018)

Creative Strategist & Copywriter

As a creative strategist and copywriter for NOMAD I wore many hats, as one does in a growing agency. This included content strategy, website copy, campaign strategy, brand concepts, headlines, tag lines, emails, social media, and blogs. My clients came from a wide range of industries including small business, health and fitness, tech startups, e-commerce, medical, and more. I also managed our team of freelance writers by delegating their tasks, editing their work, and providing constructive feedback. 

Incredible Marketing (January 2016 - April 2017)

Social Media Manager

Responsibilities included creating daily social media content for over 25 clients (mainly Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram), creating monthly email marketing campaigns, communicating with clients, editing blogs, managing the Facebook ad strategy for each client, and creating monthly promotions or offers (headline and tagline) plus art direction to designers. Also responsible for tracking and reporting monthly campaign performance and growth.

Discount Dance Supply (February 2014 - January 2016)

Social Media Coordinator

I managed the corporate blog "Dance Life," including creating original content, sizing images and editing blog contributors' work, and interviewing industry professionals. I write web and catalogue copy for our costume line, as well as copy for customer emailers. In addition, and am the curator of a private Facebook group we have exclusively for Dance Teachers, with the goal of market research and increased sales of our teacher market. 

Dreamentia Creative Laboratory (March - June 2013) 

Copywriting Assistant

Responsibilities included creating strategy and content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest. My strategies are dependent on the clients' needs and range from sales based to brand awareness based. I also create original blog content as well as press releases for the agency's own web site.
